I guess I'm IT!

So I was tagged an... embarrassingly long time ago by Rissa. It really is embarrassing how long ago it was. Oh well... better late than never?

What is your current obsession?
Evanescence. I've never really gotten over the sheer beauty of Amy Lee's voice.

What is your weirdest obsession?
Hmm... has to be... ketchup. I eat ketchup with a lot of things (but never straight, hm!)

What are you wearing today?
A gross old t-shirt and some random Free People shorts I found for three dollars. I'm really a hobo.

Why is today special?
Because I just found out I still have a job. YUS!

What would you like to learn to do?
I would like to learn how to sing properly and not just go by ear... to play guitar and drums, also properly... erm, to create a successful shop blog and get rid of some of my crap. Alleviate some of my magpie tendencies. A bunch of stuff, there's never enough time, really.

If you could meet a fictional character (books, movies…) who would that be?
My inner fangirl screams Edward Cullen.

What’s the last thing you bought?
A load of stuff, for cheap too! My favorite has to be these distressed Kira Plastinina shorts with the perfect pleating for my body, though they make my long legs look terribly stubby. But what else can I do!

What are you listening to right now?
Old Evanescence, I really do love Amy Lee.

What is your favorite weather?
If I had to answer this question related to fashion/clothing, I'd probably say cold cold cold, so I get to layer and add lots of texture into an outfit. Warm weather (especially in California) limits a lot of what you can wear.... like, it basically gets to a point where it's just an unnecessary amount of suffering is involved when you're wearing anything BUT a tank top/t-shirt and shorts combo. Non-fashion-related, I would say 85%+ overcast days with a light breeze and it's just perfect to wear shorts or a light sweater or whatever. And yes, I am disgustingly specific. :)

What do you think about the person who tagged you?
Her photography is fucking tight.

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be?
Someplace in Europe is always safe to say. First place off the top of my head would be Greece. Who DOESN'T love Greece? Greece, oh Greece... I'll go fantasize and such now.

Favorite vacation spot?
Hm, I don't get to vacation much... but I always do enjoy impromptu road trips!

What would you like to have in your hands right now?
Money. My bank account is dying.

What would you like to get rid of?
About half of my closet, and my sick need to keep everything that passes into my hands.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Honestly, I'd probably just go hang out with my boyfriend. Or how about this, kidnap him and we go to... Paris!

Which language do you want to learn?
Spanish, just for practicality's sake (due to living in California, I mean). Better Chinese (I only know basics). American Sign Language, I only know the alphabet and a few words (just try me! I'll introduce myself and everything :D). And French, I've always wanted to learn French.

What did you dream of last night?
Oh, I never remember anything from my dreams anymore. I technically didn't even sleep last NIGHT...

One thing that you would snitch out of someone’s closet, with no regrets?
Aghhh any of Lady Gaga's crazy geometric dresses. Or a pair of her shades... oh shit, no it'd be that disco stick. Erm, sterilized, please...

What’s your favorite piece of clothing in your closet?
This totally legit drapey tulip skirt thing that was probably ripped off of some designer but I found in some little trendy boutique, forgotten in the clearance rack. Or this super comfy tank that is just light enough to keep cool, but not so sheer that it reveals everything. Everyone needs one of these. I got a size up (medium) and it's perfectly slouchy.

What is your dream job?
Musician.

Personal aspirations at the moment?
Getting the shop blog off the ground (geez, I just keep plugging)... cleaning my room (which for me is a much more gargantuan task than it seems to most people)...

If you had a time machine, which time would you like to revisit?
Ancient Rome or Greece.

Your favourite pet?
:( I was never able to have pets when I was younger because of the deadly allergies I would have to fur. I've gotten over most of it, it's mainly just the usual pollen and such now... but I've always wanted like, a freaking golden retriever haha. I COULD get a pet now but it would be a bit useless and I doubt college dorms would allow me to bring a pet, and no one in my family would want to take care of it.

If you had to eat one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Most likely pasta. I don't know what it is... but I love it. I could probably eat it everyday.

1. Respond and rework: answer the questions on your blog, replace one question that you dislike with a question of your own invention, add one more question of your own.

2. Tag eight other un-tagged people. The people I’ve tagged are: Starr, Charmaine, Stylish, Anya, and whoever else wants to do this!
